Whether you've hit a crisis point, have something that's been bothering you for a long time, or simply need someone to talk to, I offer a welcoming and confidential space – I won’t judge or advise, just support you in being yourself and achieving your goals. I have experience in a wide variety of issues, including stress, anxiety, depression, issues relating to pregnancy & childbirth, family issues, self-esteem and more.
I know from my own experience that it can be easy to make excuses not to focus on ourselves. I’ll do it later. I don’t have time. My problems aren't so bad compared to others. I’d like to help you push past those feelings so you can make space for you.
Individual sessions are 50 minutes long, and we generally meet at the same time every week. Sessions are £50 per session. We can have a shorter, more focused set of sessions aimed at one specific issue. However, the full benefit of therapy tends to need a bit longer – I typically suggest 12 to 20 sessions to start with, to give us more of a chance to explore what’s going on for you. Ultimately, the duration of our work together is up to you.
I believe change is always possible. If you’re feeling stuck and are looking for someone to help you work things out, text or email to schedule an initial 20 minute consultation. There is no fee for this session – it’s a chance for you to talk about what’s brought you to counselling, to ask me any questions you have, and to get a feel for whether I’m the right therapist for you.
